What known as phpScheduleIt when it launched in 2003 had become popular in areas that I never imagined. People were scheduling tennis court rentals, helicopter lessons, salon appointments, and of course laboratory equipment. phpScheduleIt became Booked, and the community continued to grow.
Today, Booked is one of the most popular scheduling tools in the world – used by hundreds of thousands of organizations around the globe to schedule whatever they can think of.

Twinkle Toes Software, the company behind Booked, is an entirely self-funded organization. We do not have investors telling us what to do. We do not have marketing partners harvesting data.
There is a human decision behind every line of source code in Booked. We think that is important because we can empathize with our customers. The code for Booked is hand-crafted – not auto-generated via AI agents.
