Viewing Reservations and Availability

Schedule #

Under the Reservations menu item you will find the Schedule item. This will show you the available, reserved and blocked slots on the schedule and allow you to book resources that you have permission to. If you do not see an expected resource then you likely do not have permission to use it.

On the Schedule page, find the resource, date and time you’d like to book. Clicking on the time slot will allow you change the time, resources, title, and other details of the reservation.

Find a Time #

Under the Reservations menu item there is an option to Find A Time. This gives you the ability to search for any available slot that meets your criteria. This is a quick way to simply find any resource that is available for the length of time needed.

My Calendar #

My Calendar is a month, week, and day calendar view containing all of your reservations.

Resource Calendar #

The Resource Calendar is a month, week, and day calendar view containing all reservations for any number of resources. This will contain reservations that are owned by anyone using Booked.

Resource Maps #

Within the Reservations menu item there is an option for Resource Maps, if enabled by your administrator.

Resource Maps are used to visually display the location and availability of resources. From here, you can pick a map, date, and time to browse the availability of resources.

If a resource is available at the time selected, it will be shown in green. If it is not available, it will be shown in red.

Clicking on the resource location on the map will give you the option to reserve the resource.

Reservation Templates #

If your organization has added reservation templates, they will be available either by a provided link, or by browsing available templates. When logged in, selecting the New Reservation option under the main menu Reservations section will open up a list of all available reservations.

Selecting Reserve will launch a reservation workflow where you can pick a date, an available time, provide some additional information, and confirming.
