By default, reservations and availability in Booked can only be viewed by authenticated users. We also offer fine-grained control over what can be shown to non-authenticated guest users.
Steps to allow guest browsing #
- In Application Configuration,
- In Resource Management, set Allow Public Access to true for each resource that guests should be allowed to book.
On the login page of Booked, there will now be menu options for viewing the schedule. Guests will be able to directly browse availability of all enabled resources.
Allowing guests to view reservation details #
To this point, guests will be able to view resource availability (the times the resource is booked or free), but will not be able to see any details of the reservations.
To allow guests to view reservation details, in Application Configuration set
'view.reservations' to true.
